We completed the preliminary explanation of how to use the Expected Value of a trading method, to determine the viability of the method.
You can read it in the blog here.
After multiple requests from clients, for us to open a blog to educate them as to how we see the markets, and how our tools help to trade the markets, we have finally started a blog.
You can access the blog from our menu on every page, or you can click here for a quick peek at a longer explanation as to why we started the blog. Remember to access the posts, after you read about the blog's raison d'ĂȘtre.
We have made updates to the Osi_BreakoutExtents. The new version is v2.01. See the change log, and get the information on how to obtain the updates.
We have made updates to the Osi_BreakoutExtents. The new version is v2.0. There have been multiple enhancements, among other things, in displaying probabilities and expectation values. See the change log, and get the information on how to obtain the updates.
On July 8, 2015, we presented again in the "NinjaTrader ecoSystem" series.
Our topic was: Setting Market Exits using the Statistics of Prior Price Behavior.
In the webinar, we explained how to use some very simple statistical concepts to determine exit targets for our trades, with a high probability of hitting a predetermined win/loss ratio.
You can watch the entire presentation here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boEutkPwq48

On July 8, 2015, we shall be presenting again in the "NinjaTrader ecoSystem" series.
Our topic shall be: Setting Market Exits using the Statistics of Prior Price Behavior.
You can register by clicking on the link. There are more details on the registration page, including the special offers that will be available to all attendees.
Here is a synopsis
We only make money when we exit our position in the market. That means that we are best off knowing where we will exit the trade, before we actually enter the trade.
By using the statistics of past price travel, we can target our exits, so that we exit our trades before the market retreats and takes our profits.
Knowing our exits before we take the trade, in conjunction with where we will place our Stop Loss order, also allows us to quantify our risk/reward beforehand, and so qualify our trades, keeping us out of trades that are unlikely to yield enough gains.
These are not price predictions: they are price projections, based on how price has behaved in the past. Probabilistic considerations will still apply to using these numbers: they cannot be deterministic.
We have made updates to the Osi_Ichimoku and Osi_IchimokuScanner. There have been multiple enhancements. See the change log, and get the information on how to obtain the updates.
How would you like to be able to glance at a chart and immediately know in what direction a trade would most likely be profitable?
We recently, November 6, 2014, presented a webinar in the "NinjaTrader ecoSystem" series, on an indicator that we developed to help you do that.
If you would prefer to get the slides, you can get them from this link. The slides do not have our verbal explanations, so are not quite as comprehensible as the webinar presentation. On the other hand, due to time-pressure, a few of the slides were not presented at the webinar, so you can see them if you download the slides.

Why not make your first test a nice test of how the Osi Price Action Support-Resistance Zones indicator acts with market data. It is really a wonderful display of how the market's support and resistance areas dynamically unfold during the trading day.
You can still get the indicator by taking advantage of our continuing special trial for the indicator, available from this very link.
The Market Replay downloader is available by clicking this link.

We are back, just as we said that we would be, and just as we said then, there are discounts to be had. The details are simple:
If it used to be $197, it is discounted to $147 ($50 in savings).
If it used to be $297, it is discounted to $197 ($100 in savings).
If it used to be $397, it is discounted to $247 ($150 in savings).
In other words, multiply the hundreds digit by 50, and that is what you will save by acting now.
Grab something while you still can. The savings are not going to be forever, and we shall terminate the offer when we feel that we have given enough away in celebration of our return.
On July 8, 2013, the fire that took us out pretty much meant that no new customers could take advantage of our Independence Day Special Trial. Therefore, now that we have returned, we will let the offer run for till the end of August, instead of July.
You can get if from this link: Independence Day Special Trial
On July 8, 2013, while still counting how many takers we had on our Independence Day Special, (we had 117 takers in the 3 days that the offer ws up), and what to do with those customers, a fire swept through our premises and incinerated pretty much everything: our server, our workstations, our paper records, and just about anything else important. Fortunately, nobody was killed, or even injured.
